On 9th July, our activities and discussions are aimed at adults (16+). Come along to awaken your senses and learn how to engage yourself more fully in nature. Orient yourself outside, spot some hidden signs of life, find your voice in the wild and surprise your tastebuds!

In case you have never heard of Sumowala before, it is good to know that our name stems from Sun, Moon, Water, Land. That's why we decided to start our first edition of the Sumowala Experience with a weekend devoted to the Sun. Like the sunrise coming up in the morning, we would like to awaken your senses, by diving straight into nature. With a diversity of explorative activities, we will collectively find our way through nature. All of this is done with the help of Koen Arts and Gina Maffey, our ambassadors. They have a profound love for nature and a lifetime of experiences in their pockets living in and with nature. A couple of years ago, they decided to sleep outside for 365 days in a row and to spend at least half of their time outside. A beautiful story and many lifechanging lessons came out of that experiment. During the Sumowala Experience there is plenty of time to ask them about it.
